These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Ozenn mobile application and related services (the "Service"), operated by Orzen ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Ozenn lets you record or upload meeting audio, and uses automated speech recognition and artificial intelligence to produce transcripts, translations, structured meeting minutes, and action items. The Service requires an account and an internet connection for processing; recordings made offline are stored on your device until uploaded.
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. Notify us promptly at tech@orzen.in if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Laws on recording conversations vary by country and state; many require the consent of some or all participants. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to record any conversation you capture with the Service, including obtaining any required consent from participants. We are not liable for your failure to comply with applicable recording laws.
You retain all rights to the audio you record and the content generated from it ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit Your Content solely to provide the Service — including sending audio to our speech-to-text provider and transcripts to our AI provider for summarization. We do not sell Your Content or use it for advertising.
If Your Content includes confidential, proprietary, medical, financial, or other sensitive information — whether your own or a third party's — you are responsible for determining whether it is appropriate to record and process that information through the Service. We apply the security and access controls described in our Privacy Policy to all Content regardless of sensitivity, but we do not independently review, classify, or restrict Content based on its confidentiality.
You agree not to use the Service to: violate any law, including surveillance and wiretapping laws; upload content that infringes others' rights; attempt to breach, probe, or overload our systems; resell or provide automated access to the Service without our written consent; or upload malicious files. We enforce fair-use limits (including upload and processing quotas); attempts to circumvent them may result in suspension.
Transcripts, translations, meeting minutes, and action items are generated by automated systems and may contain errors, omissions, or mischaracterizations. They are provided for convenience and do not constitute an authoritative record. You should verify important details against the original audio before relying on them for any business, legal, medical, or official purpose.
The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and may impose or change usage limits. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting tech@orzen.in. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with notice where practicable. Upon termination, your stored content will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orzen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD $50 if you have paid nothing.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of Your Content, your recordings of third parties without required consent, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, India.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
